Marketing
Key concepts
Marketing is the process used to determine what products or services may be of interest to customers, and the strategy to use in sales, communications and business development. [1] It generates the strategy that underlies sales techniques, business communication, and business developments. [1] It is an integrated process through which companies build strong customer relationships and create value for their customers and for themselves. [1]
Marketing is used to identify the customer, satisfy the customer, and keep the customer. With the customer as the focus of its activities, marketing management is one of the major components of business management. Marketing evolved to meet the stasis in developing new markets caused by mature markets and overcapacities in the last 2-3 centuries.[citation needed] The adoption of marketing strategies requires businesses to shift their focus from production to the perceived needs and wants of their customers as the means of staying profitable.[citation needed]
The term marketing concept holds that achieving organizational goals depends on knowing the needs and wants of target markets and delivering the desired satisfactions.[2] It proposes that in order to satisfy its organizational objectives, an organization should anticipate the needs and wants of consumers and satisfy these more effectively than competitors.[2]

Critical Role of Market Research
Copyright Carter McNamara, MBA, PhD
It is extremely difficult to develop and provide a high-quality product or service without conducting at least some basic market research. Some people have a strong aversion to the word “research” because they believe that the word implies a highly sophisticated set of techniques that only highly trained people can use. Some people also believe that, too often, research generates lots of useless data that is in lots of written reports that rarely are ever read, much less used in the real world. This is a major misunderstanding.
Odds are that you have already conducted at least some basic forms of market research. For example, you have listened (a research technique) to others complain about not having enough of something -- that should suggest providing what they need in the form of a product or service.
Market research has a variety of purposes and a variety of data collection methods might be used for each purpose. The particular data collection method that you use during your market research depends very much on the particular information that you are seeking to understand.

Relationship Communication Advice
by Guy Blews on April 19, 2010
www.realisticrelationships.com

Communication is the solution to everything, if you participate.
There is no good communicating what you feel or think if you are unable or unprepared to hear what other people want or need.
b)Communication is a two way street. So listen to Guy Blews and learn.
If you communicate properly, if you allow others to communicate clearly, you will learn and you will grow and you will flourish.
As a man it is essential that you learn to listen to what a woman says, that you learn to see life from her point of view, that you learn to allow her to express her opinion and feelings whilst you listen and absorb without becoming weak.
As a woman it is important for you to understand that men do not communicate in the same way as women do, that men do not analyze, over-analyze, re-analyze and de-analyze everything a multitude of times. Learn to communicate in more subtle ways with a man and leave the direct communication for the times when you are with the girls.
Without communication we are left in a place of confusion – we have all seen or been the tourist who does not speak the language but thinks that shouting the words will make them easier to understand all to no avail; if we do not learn to communicate properly we are left with nothing but frustration.
Learn the language of your partner(s) and learn to communicate on an intelligent level; not a level of control, anger or confusion, but a level of balance and understanding.
Communication requires an objective outlook on a situation; if we are to have successful communication with our partners we have to be prepared to see the other side of the argument, we have to be prepared to compromise a little and if we cannot compromise we have to learn to communicate our differences in a calm and intelligent manner.
